During my recent city break in Rome, I had the pleasure of staying at Alba Sul Vaticano, an enchanting B&B that perfectly marries comfort and convenience. Nestled just a short stroll from the Vatican, it offers an ideal base for exploring iconic landmarks like the Colosseum and Piazza Navona, all easily accessible via nearby metro and bus lines. From the moment we arrived, Alba and her friendly team made our stay extraordinarily welcoming. The breakfast buffet was a delightful daily highlight, with an array of fresh and locally-inspired options that truly set the tone for our adventures. The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including a lovely strong shower - something I personally value as an environmental scientist who appreciates a refreshing start to the day. One of the standout features was the attention to detail in service; Alba was attentive and responsive, always available to provide recommendations that enriched our experience. Having a communal fridge and kettle in the common area fostered a warm atmosphere, allowing us to connect with fellow travelers, which made our stay all the more enjoyable.
